Scalloped potatoes

Ingredients:

° 4 cups thinly sliced potatoes
° 3 tablespoons butter
° 3 tablespoons flour
° 1 1 2 cups milk
° 1 tsp salt
° 1 dash cayenne pepper
° 1 c cheddar cheese
° 1/2 cups grated cheese, sprinkle over top
° Paprika

Instructions:

 In  saucepan, melt butter & stir in flour.
“Sit down a mn.
– Add all the cold milk, stirring with a whisk.
– Seasoning with salt & cayenne pepper.
– Cook sauce over low heat until smooth and boiling, stirring occasionally with a whisk.
– Reduce heat & stirring in cheese.
– Place half the sliced potatoes in a lightly greased one-quart saucepan.
– Pour half the cheese sauce over the potatoes.
– Repeat with the second layer of potatoes and cheese sauce.
“Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
“Garnish with paprika for colour.
– Cook uncovered for about 1 hour at 350°F
